Privacy Policy

Still is designed to start privately on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information Still may process, when that happens, and the choices you have.

Information we process

Still may process information you provide in the app, including meditation prompts, selected preferences, saved sessions, reminder settings, and support messages you send to us.

On-device data

Saved session history, streaks, favorites, preferences, and reminder settings are stored locally on your device unless a feature explicitly requires cloud processing.

On-device prompt processing

Before a cloud-backed session is requested, Still uses on-device classifiers and prompt-processing logic to interpret your input, such as the likely tone, category, emotional framing, urgency, and other generation guidance. This processing happens on your device first.

Cloud-backed generation

If you choose a cloud-backed session or cloud media upgrade, Still sends a distilled version of your request and the generation details needed to create that session to our backend. This is designed to avoid sending the full raw prompt when a reduced request can be used instead. We use that information only to provide the requested feature, operate the service, maintain security, and troubleshoot reliability issues.

Advertising and tracking

Still does not sell your data, and it does not share your data with third parties for advertising or cross-app tracking. Your data is used to provide the app, maintain the service, support optional cloud-backed features you request, and meet legal or security obligations.

Authentication and device identifiers

Still may create a private session token and a random installation identifier to keep the service working reliably. These identifiers are not intended to directly identify you by name.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Still schedules local notifications on your device. Reminder content is not shared with third parties for delivery.

Analytics

Still is currently designed to minimize analytics. If product analytics are introduced later, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect. Any such changes would not permit selling your data or sharing it with third parties for advertising or tracking.

Data retention

Local data remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app, subject to your device backup settings. Cloud service logs and operational records may be retained for a limited period for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and legal compliance.

Children

Still is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

Your choices

You can choose whether to enable reminders, whether to purchase a subscription, and whether to use features that require cloud-backed generation.
